Description
The Assault Industries Adventure Rack, formerly known as the spare tyre rack, has been completely reengineered to offer even greater utility and performance. Designed to provide quick access to the bed while maintaining rear-view clearance, the new version retains its original functionality but adds a host of improvements for better performance and versatility. The main platform is now wider and features dimpled and slotted utility plates welded in place, creating a stable flat surface for storing gear both above and below.
For improved stability, dual hinge pivots have been added at the cage mounting points, while three adjustable positions allow for customised setup of the shorter, stronger EZ-Lift gas struts and latch strikers. The latch brackets now mount directly to the rear cage bolts, offering greater bed clearance and ensuring no part of the rack contacts the vehicle’s body. This results in a much cleaner and more refined installed appearance than the previous model.
The EZ-Lift gas shocks make operation smoother and easier by reducing lift height, allowing for quicker, more comfortable access. A three-point strap system secures tyres up to 32 inches, but can also be used to hold other gear in place. Made in the USA from high-grade 1018 steel, this rack is finished in a durable semi-gloss black powder coat for added strength, corrosion resistance, and rugged looks.
